I (Jamie, they/them) am a trans-pangender associate clinician who is interested in working with those with gender and sexuality concerns, family and relationship difficulties, neurodivergence, and anomalous or unexplained life experiences. I work with clients utilizing a dynamic psychosocial lens that considers all aspects of your mental well-being as uniquely shaped by your experience of culture and identity.
I take a relational-existentialist approach when working with clients, which means that I contextualize my clients’ experiences by exploring meaning, relationships, and seeking to understand how these aspects of life interact with identity and personal values. I also include evidence-based methodology such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support my client’s healing with structure, resources, and education. My theory is porous and adaptive, per the uniqueness of each of my clients, which may be better supported by other counseling frameworks.
I am an associate professional counselor in Georgia, which means that I am under the supervision of Anna Baxter, LPC, CPCS. Receiving supervision requires that I consult with my supervisor about my cases, which can limit confidentiality when working with me during my training.
I am currently accepting new clients! My rate for services is $80/hr for individual therapy and $125/hr for relationship therapy, with limited sliding scale availability. If you are interested in learning more about doing counseling with me, I encourage you to reach out to me directly at (214) 605 1726 or via email jamiecampos.counseling@proton.me to set up a complimentary 15-minute consultation to see if we may be a good match. Wishing you much health and happiness!
