What’s Going On? New Support Group at Summits Edge
Summits Edge will be offering a justice-centered- anti-oppressive process group. I wanted to share here on our blog in case anybody reading could benefit from this resource.
“What’s Going On?”, a biweekly process group for marginalized young adults, co-led by Liesl Engelbrecht (she/her) and Sydney Christian (she/her), both Associate Professional Counselors at Summits Edge Counseling.
Group Launch: Thursday, May 29th at 5:30 PM
Recurring: Every other Thursday at 5:30 PM
Group Dates: 5/29, 6/12, 6/26, 7/10, 7/24, and 8/7
Closed group, max 12 participants
Who it’s for: Adults ages 18–35 with marginalized identities of all genders
This group is designed as a healing-centered space to process the current political and social climate—specifically for BIPOC, queer, and otherwise marginalized folx—seeking community, grounding, and support.
Sliding Scale: $20 – $50 per session-Though participants are not required to contribute financially to participate
All contributions go directly toward compensating our clinicians.
