The Ethics and Practice of Implementing Culturally Competent, Diverse, Equitable, Inclusive, and Belonging Practices in Supervision
Working with the LGBTQIA+ population involves identifying key areas that will enhance the practitioner’s, the supervisee’s, and the client’s understanding, sensitivity, and culturally competent skills. Therefore, given the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ supervisees and clients in accessing culturally competent and affirming mental health support, this workshop equips supervisors with the knowledge and skills needed to create inclusive, responsive, and empowering supervision environments.
